NV CLE: Complete 12 Hours of Nevada CLE by December 31

For 2017, Nevada attorneys must complete at least 12 NV CLE hours each annual Nevada CLE compliance period. In addition, Nevada attorneys must complete at least 2 hours of legal ethics as part of the 12 hour Nevada CLE requirement. Please note that Nevada attorneys now also have a substance abuse requirement that must be completed every three years.[1]

NV CLE: How Do I Report My Nevada CLE Hours?

OK, so you are on top of your game this year. You actually got all 12 required NV CLE hours done way ahead of the December 31 Nevada CLE deadline. Now what? Now it’s time to let the Nevada CLE Board know you did your NV CLE!

Reporting NV CLE Hours

Nevada is an attendance verification state. You must report all your completed NV CLE credit hours to the Nevada CLE Board.

NV CLE: Late Nevada CLE Deadline is March 1

Nevada attorneys must complete at least twelve (12) CLE credit hours each annual NV CLE compliance period as part of the mandatory NV CLE requirement.[1] All required NV CLE hours should have been completed and reported by December 31. Did YOU get your Nevada CLE done yet??

NV CLE: The Annual Nevada CLE Compliance Report

Nevada attorneys must complete a minimum of twelve (12) CLE credit hours each annual NV CLE compliance period.  In order to properly fulfill the 12 credit hour Nevada CLE requirement, Nevada attorneys must complete at least two (2) credit hours of legal ethics every year – and one (1) hour of substance abuse every three years.

Nevada CLE Report

  • The annual compliance report must be submitted to the Nevada CLE Board before March 1.

Nevada attorneys must report their own Nevada CLE compliance by completing the annual report.[1] The Nevada CLE Board will mail you an annual report by January 15 that will list all your NV CLE credits earned from the previous year.[2] The annual compliance report must be completed, verified, and submitted to the Nevada CLE Board before March 1.
