Illinois attorneys… did you get your Illinois MCLE done?  That’s right, it’s just about time to get started on your 30 required Illinois MCLE hours. Illinois attorneys must complete 30 hours every 2 years – including 4 required hours of Professional Responsibility, 1 hour of Diversity & Inclusion and 1 hour of Mental Health and Substance Abuse.

Required IL CLE hours:

* 4 hours of Professional Responsibility

* 1 hour of Diversity & Inclusion

* 1 hour of Mental Health and Substance

Illinois attorneys must normally complete the 30 required hours by June 30 and report IL MCLE compliance by July 31. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Supreme Court of Illinois has given each attorney in the 2018-2020 reporting group the option to secure a no-cost, three-month extension until September 30 to complete the credits.
