Washington must complete a minimum of 45 WA MCLE hours every 3 years by December 31. In addition, Washington attorneys must also complete a minimum of 6 hours of Legal Ethics or Professional Responsibility to meet the Washington MCLE requirements.
Washington MCLE – Late CLE Reporting
Group 2 attorneys in Washington had a December 31 deadline to complete all 45 WA CLE hours. The late reporting deadline is April 1 to complete the required hours.
If you missed the 12/31 compliance deadline you have until April 1 to complete your required MCLE. After that you may be subject to fines and suspension. Please note that the live course requirement has been eliminated in Washington and attorneys may now complete all 45 WA CLE hours through computer based courses.
